Adolescent babirusa Tolo lives with his devoted mother Sula. They are very close, enjoying mud baths and pedicures together. But Sula has a hoof problem so they must be separated for the vet to intervene, and keepers are concerned for Tolo’s wellbeing in her absence. Laid-back rock hyraxes Daissie and her partner Nungu are expecting their eighth litter.

With the birth imminent, the couple’s life of ease could be a thing of the past.In the zoo’s reptile house, there’s a more ferocious approach to breeding in the shape of the Bermuda skinks. These rare, tiny lizards pack a punch when it comes to mating. Poptart prepares for her first encounter with an aggressive suitor call Sharkface; will she survive unscathed?
