Beat The Chasers
Beat The Chasers returns for its fifth series, with six Chasers teaming up to compete against some of the nation’s bravest quizzers.
Bradley Walsh returns to host as contestants put their skills to the test for huge cash prizes, with hundreds of thousands of pounds on offer as we see the return of ‘Super Offers’ made to those who get all five questions correct in the Cashbuilder round.
It’s a race against the clock, as time counts down until a question is answered correctly and the questions swap from contestants to Chasers. The first to run out of time loses the game.
This series introduces a new quizzer to the panel, with The Chase Australia’s very own Issa ‘The Supernerd’ Schultz stepping in for Anne ‘The Governess’ Hegerty. Contestants will face Shultz alongside Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett, Shaun ‘The Dark Destroyer’ Wallace, Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan, Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha, and Darragh ‘The Menace’ Ennis.
Produced by Potato for ITV.
In episode 4, English teacher Val tries to Beat the Chasers in order to replace her car, while Frankie from Dorset and Kieran from Romford attempt to fund overseas travels. Singer-songwriter Leah also has a pop at the brainboxes to fulfil her dream of creating a music video before Gary from Rugeley tries his luck so that he can follow Bruce Springsteen on his upcoming world tour. Will any of them succeed?
