Twenty-six-year-old Alex was cycling through a park when he collided with a stampede of deer. Doctors at St George’s in south London are concerned about the extent of blood loss from the puncture wounds in Alex’s thigh, and that he may have internal bleeding. Thirty-four-year-old mum-of-two Jenny had a heart attack three weeks ago and is now potentially having another. Her partner Jamie remembers their initial meeting in a nightclub and falling for her instantly. And 18-month-old Teddy has developed a limp. His mum Stevi explains that Teddy is her third child and she instinctively knew that something was different with her youngest. Stevi reflects on the tough times as a mum, when you don’t know what the future holds, but how the love for your child gets you through.
