The detective is drawn into Newcastle’s underworld to discover the identity of a murder victim found dead in the river, with no clue as to who he is apart from a distinctive drugs wrapper. She discovers the dead man had ties to some very dangerous people, many of whom may have wanted him dead, while a witness’s testimony links the case to a remote farm where a murder took place 13 years previously. The connection brings Kenny’s past back to haunt him, as he was responsible for seeing the perpetrator convicted
