Paper conservator Angelina Bakalarou takes on a portrait from the early 1900s known as a `crayon portrait”. This popular Victorian technique involved painting over an enlarged photograph, thus avoiding hours of posing for the sitter. An old fashioned Middle Eastern heating device, known as a brazier, and a pottery horse are also restored

Jewellery maker Nyanda receives marketing support

Hobbyist weaver has so far struggled to break into the textile market and mentor Piyush thinks he knows why. Jessica loves colour, but doesn’t have a plan of how many she uses in her pieces. Piyush sets her a challenge of using no more than four colours in each of four seasonal collections. Nyanda is a passionate and talented jeweller with a strong design eye, but her business has stalled.
